Super Dragon Ball Mai
Mai (マイ) is the only Human-type Earthling member of the Pilaf Gang that has appeared throughout the series. She débuts in the first portion of the series, serving as Pilaf's henchmen along with her partner Shū, with the goals of assisting her boss's goal of collecting the Dragon Balls so he can wish to rule over the world. But their goals were always thwarted by Son Gokū and his friends.

Published Feb 3, 2023 Mai is getting a lot of attention in DBS, and the more nuanced parts of her personality are shedding new light on her endearing qualities. While many newer Dragon Ball fans are just starting to get wind of her, Mai has actually been a recurring character in Dragon Ball since the start of the series.

Old school fans of Dragon Ball will remember Mai as a long term member of the Pilaf gang. The last time we saw her in Dragon Ball Z she was an adult so why is Mai a kid in Dragon Ball Super? Mai is a kid in Dragon Ball Super because Emporer Pilaf used the Dragon Balls to wish his Pilaf gang to be young again during the Android Saga. Mai did.

Future Mai (未来のマイ, Mirai no Mai) is the one of the tritagonists of the "Future" Trunks Saga. She is the leader of the Resistance against Goku Black and one of Future Trunks' closest allies. Mai assists Trunks and the others throughout the entire story arc. In the end, Fused Zamasu had merged with the multiverse itself, causing Future Zeno to erase it. She is one of the three.

Dragon Ball Wikia says At some point before May 12th, Age 767, Mai and the other Pilaf Gang members managed to use the Dragon Balls to wish for youth. In 767, Mai makes a wish, in the same year the androids appear, and Future Trunks follows them back. Present Trunks is one year old.

Mai assisted Pilaf in collecting the Dragon Balls with Shu.When a spy tracker spotted a glow in Skull Valley Shu and Mai came there only to see it was nothing but a bunch of Wolves.Shu and Mai were able to get away but Goku kicked down their plane causing them to crash. When they finally got back to Pilaf's Castle they were forced on another mission to get a dragon ball from Roshi the Turtle.

Mai is introduced in Dragon Ball Super as a child just a little taller than Trunks and assumed to be around 12 years old. This was backed by the DBS manga in 2016 as well. The Pilaf Gang used the Dragon Balls to make themselves younger, as mentioned above. They reverted to infancy around the same time that Trunks was a baby.
