March 6, 2018 The Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort is divided into an east and a west village. While the east village is the older and more charming one, the west village is definitely the one where the magic happens. We stayed in the east village and really enjoyed the hygge feeling there.

Our home for a few days 🙂 Our igloo is the first one in a queue of rotund 'hotel rooms'. This is no regular hotel room - it's a heated igloo with a transparent ceiling.
