On our second trip to the Dolomites, we stayed in the famous Cortina d' Ampezzo, the host of the winter Olympics in 2026. Cortina is the perfect home-base for the Western side of the Dolomites as it was right near popular sites such as Lago di Sorapiss, Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Cinque Torri, and Lago di Braies.
